...on myself...

Born long time ago in a distant galaxy... oops the wrong book!

Here are some basic things I spend time with, though not necessarily in this order: listen to music, watch good movies, reading books, spend time with my family, badminton, playing ASL, hanging out with the guys, sometimes I go around taking pictures, drink alcoholic beverages, travelling the globe, and more. I used to play chess a lot.

This is how it happened (you may wish to go to another site now):

I was born 1963 (so I am told) in Stockholm, Sweden. After a couple of months of that the family moved to Rio de Janeiro, Brasil and settled a couple of hundred meters from Copacabana. Just another of those beaches you know, sand and water. At least if you are two years old.... Which is how old I was when my parents decided to move back to Sweden. *sigh*

And so we landed in the south of Sweden in a place called Staffanstorp where I stayed there for the next 23 years.

You're In the Army Now, as Bolland sang. Quite right, and reparing weaponry from MG's to the main armament on the Stridsvagn 103.

In typical Army fashion I could not make a [civilian] drivers license for cars since I was only backup driver for the repair trucks, but getting one for this 30 ton tank and its lighter brethren was no problem...

But they are great fun driving too (especially on icy roads!).

I might mention that I have a younger brother, Jan-Erik. This has been a burden... (probably for him too). You'll find one of his many homepages here [later] (Ogres seems to be migratory fellows).

After Staffanstorp came Göteborg. There I met Karin and we immediately (well almost) got along together after passing a Trivial Pursuit test. Some weeks after going steady I got an offer to start working Germany to develop a new system so after some general discussions (including one Pink Floyd live concert in Hamburg!) with the company I signed a contract for two years and went. After a year Karin decided to come down as well. This was in 1989 and we are still here.

In the meantime we married and went to Australia for honeymoon, this picture is from Surfers Paradise. That was my third time down under and hopefully not the last. Australia is worth a visit anytime, having really friendly people and a continent full of strange stuff like kangaroos, platypuses, deadly snakes (17 of the 20 most poisonous), Kockaburras (sp?), intresting spiders like the Sydney funnel-webber, the Barrier Reef (worth a visit on its own), much more and for no reason at all Vegemite as well.

We have two boys: Simon and Sebastian. So no long sleepy, mornings anymore. Or just laying around for whole day. Now there is always something to play with, that must be investigated, or just "busa". But it is way fun!
